- What is the cost of a class? These prices will go into effect on June 1, 2024.
The cost of the public courses is as follows:
- In-Person Drilling Driller Surface Only $1,600.00/student
- In-Person Drilling Supervisor Surface Only $1,600.00/student
- In-Person Drilling Supervisor Surface/Subsea $1,700.00/student
- In-Person Drilling Supervisor with Workover $1,700.00/student
- In-Person Oil & Gas Operator Representative. (OGOR) $1,800.00/student
As there are additional costs for the IADC-approved virtual classroom setting, the cost of the WellSharp Live courses is as follows:
- WellSharp Live Drilling Supervisor Surface Only $1,800.00/student
- WellSharp Live Drilling Supervisor Surface/Subsea $1,900.00/student
- WellSharp Live Drilling Supervisor with Workover $1,900.00/student
- WellSharp Live Oil & Gas Operator Representative. (OGOR) $1,800.00/student
Wild Well accepts all major credit cards, and payment is due at enrollment.
Any cancellation made less than 7 calendar days before the course start date will result in a 10% cancellation fee on the reserved service.
- What do I need to attend class?
You need the following to attend a Virtual Class:
- Computer with either Windows 8/10 or Mac Operating System 10.13/10.15
- Internet Connection
- The latest version of the Chrome browser recommended
- Camera
- Microphone
- Photo ID
You need the following to attend the In-Person Class:
- Photo ID
- What are the class times each day?
Generally, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
The Drilling Supervisor course begins Monday at 8:00 a.m. Class runs Monday through Wednesday, with testing beginning at 11:00 a.m. Thursday for in-person and 10:00 a.m. for virtual.
The OGOR Course begins Monday at 8:00 a.m. Class runs Monday through Thursday, with testing beginning Friday at 11:00 a.m.
Unfortunately, lunch isn't provided. However, an adequate lunch break is offered to students.
No, Wild Well currently offers IADC Courses.
- Is the online certification the same as the in-person one?
Yes, these fully accredited IADC WellSharp courses come with the standard two-year certification, the same as the in-person courses.
- What is the expiry for IADC’s certifications?
IADC’s Drilling Driller, Drilling Supervisor, and Oil & Gas Operator Representative (OGOR) certificates come with the standard two-year certification.
- What prerequisites are required for the class?
None. However, IADC recommends first-time students complete the Introductory to Drilling and/or Driller level course(s).
- Can I take the exam to get re-certified?
No, IADC requires each student to retake the entire course to get re-certified.
